Job Description

Customer Services & Support, Health care.
provide support in all areas of within the Claims processing department.

Employee should understand have a general understanding of all functions within the Health care Department in order to provide assistance where necessary during times of high workload.

Profile

1.Check and validate processed medical claims before issuing payment
2.contact medical providers and customer wherever necessary to obtain additional information if required
3.Update customers about prior approvals and explain reason of rejection
4.Register prior approvals in the insurance computer system
5.follow up admission and visit in-patient from time to time
6. support customer service staff for medical queries
7.support claim processing staff in assessing high value claims
8.Dispense medical training to Claim Processing & Customer Service staff
9.Answer prior approvals within one hour from receipt of approval request
10.Register and document prior approval request in system
11.Respond to telephone queries within 24 hours
12.respond to written queries within 3 days
13.Assist on Medical Underwriting on individual applications
14.Support the Sales team on presentations for existing and potential clients by giving clarifications and explanations to medical queries
15.Extend assistance to international clients under insurance company who visits the Gulf, arranging ambulance service, Doctor’s appointment, hotel bookings, and house calls.
