Finance Director Dubai Competitive salary Due to continued growth in the local market, our client, a globally recognised FMCG and distribution company are currently seeking a Director of Finance for their Dubai Head Quarters. Reporting directly to the Divisional CFO, you will have full management responsibility for the team and day to day financials and reporting, as such you will be a hands-on person, with involvement in the operations of the business. You will play an integral part in establishing policies and procedures and the overall development of the department. In addition you will be involved in management decisions, ensuring all deadlines are met and offering support and advice. At the same time you will need to remain flexible to allow involvement in ad-hoc projects as and when needed. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years management experience ideally within a United States based FMCG or Distribution environment. You will have sound experience in USGAAP and IFRS, a flexible and adaptable approach as well as the drive to initiate change and the ability to communicate at all levels. With a comprehensive understanding of US Financial Institutions and a ‘hands-on’ approach you will be natural team-leader. You will be required to work to tight deadlines, as well as a willingness to travel to remote locations.
