Assistant Manager - Al Batha Group - Sharjah

Job Description

A position has arisen for an Assistant General Manager with risk management, SAP/IT and business process audit experience in the Internal Audit department within the Al Batha Group. This position will report to the General Manager of the department and assist him in implementing and monitoring the execution of the Group Internal Audit Plan and Development of the Department. The job entails conducting and leading internal audit assignments, monitoring and evaluating risk mitigation plans and the design of system based and manual controls around SAP business processes. In reviewing the audit team field assignments, the incumbent will also review work performed with respect to perform gap or root-cause analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements. •University degree preferably with Accounting or related disciplines •Preference would be given to CPA, ACCA, CIA or CISA qualified applicants or its equivalent •6-10 years of extensive system audit experience with a professional firm or in industry •Strong working knowledge and understanding of SAP/IT review procedures, business processes and internal controls •Possess experience in using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques & Tools such as ACL •Effective project management, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential •Excellent communication and written English skills •Knowledge of Shariah Compliance Audit is an advantage
