Job Description
Provide day-to-day financial/accounting support for the company. Maximize cash flow performance through controls on inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances. Works closely with business managers to maintain a focus on current and future financial needs in order to satisfy business growth. Hands on management of the accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger Ensure accuracy of monthly financials; work through month-end closing. Provide information to management on finance/accounting related issues. Assure that financial and internal controls are in place and functioning, which will provide assurances that financial records are accurate and reliable. Assist with external/Internal audits and act as liaison with external/Internal auditors. Prepare financial statements, operating budgets, forecasts, and cash management reports. Remain current on updates relating to regulated industry trends and analysis Participate with management to pursue continuous company improvement, problem-solving and process analysis. Provide Key people with coaching, feedback and development opportunities to help build effective teams. Establishes system controls for financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.

Profile
Manages the daily activities of the accounting department, including A/P, A/R, payroll and administration. Responsible for monthly and/or quarterly and yearly closings, and reconciles G/L accounts. Assists the Finance Manager in preparation of company’s budget, financial statement and analysis. The position requires knowledge and utilization of a fully integrated ERP system. Responsibilities centered on ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of accounting transactions.
