Buyer - Consumer Durable - Client of Decision Management Consultants - Dubai

Job Description
Assist the management in planning a customer centric layout for the assigned merchandise division. Support pre- & post sales services by coordinating with suppliers with the goal of achieving 100% customer satisfaction. Conduct periodic tours in the stores to physically inspect and monitor customer engagement services of the staff. To achieve the sales / gross profit/Inventory control objectives for the assigned division. To achieve divisional business objectives for In-store advertising & promotional area concessions. Negotiate annual contracts and business terms with suppliers for the assigned merchandise. Negotiate promotional items for the merchandise sales promotional calendar with suppliers. Communicate with suppliers on a regular basis to update price lists, claim price compensations. To evaluate merchandise assortment and plan introduction of new lines/phasing out of discontinued lines on a regular basis

Profile
Bachelors Degree/Diploma in business management with specialization in marketing/retail management/purchase management. Minimum of 6-7 years as a Buyer/Merchandise Planner in a large retail organisation/Speciality Electronics Chain/ Hypermarket with adequate exposure to retail operations & buying in a multibrand-multicategory electronics retail environment. MBAs with 4-5 years experience will be considered. Excellent Communication.
