JOB DESCRIPTION: Analyze Plant Process and enhance MES system to maximize production efficiencies. Study business requirements and advice management on architecture solution to optimize process control Work closely with external consultants and software solution providers in achieving business or the process objectives in the most cost effective manner. Co ordinate and monitor the development and deployment activities of MES as per the agreed system development methodology and standards Effectively executive change request for the MES system Develop work flow model of process where ever required for understanding business requirements.
Profile
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS: Experience in carrying out MES projects in a large process plants Knowledge of production related business process Knowledge of standard packages of MES, SCADA, PLC real time historians Experience in developing Microsoft DOT NET projects and interfaces for real time historian with various Microsoft DOT NET applications Working knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle / MSSQL Preferred Working experience in ALUMINUM Smelter in any one of the core area of REDUCTION, CARBON, CAST HOUSE or ENERGY Experiencing in implementing SAP – MES interface for plant maintenance, production planning functionalities. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy equivalent. Minimum 10 to 15 years of industrial experience of which at least 8 to 10 years in large Process industry preferably in METAL SECTOR
