Senior commercial underwriter - Engage Selection - Dubai

Job Description
My client, one of the leading global insurance providers, with a presence in the Middle East for over 30 years are currently seeking senior commerical underwriter in there Dubai office.

Profile Demonstrate sound technical underwriting and risk assessment expertise and a high understanding of large Risk Management Business practices, broker networks and key commercial clients in a global and local context

The incumbent will possess a broad knowledge of the Gulf competitors, products and pricing strategies as well as a broad knowledge of the organisation and the decision making processes.

Be familiar with insurance wordings and Excel sheet calculation

Academic Qualifications:
A completed Tertiary qualification in a technically relevant field
ACII or ALL (or equivalent) required
Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial underwriting
Behavioral competencies
Strong written and oral communication skills
An ability to multi-task under pressure
Good organizational skill with a high internal and external customer orientation

An enthusiastic self starter.
