Supply Chain Manager - Leading Pharmaceutical Distributor - Dubai

Job Description

Our business a leading pharmaceutical distributor in the UAE is looking to hire a proven supply chain manager to take complete responsibility of the whole supply chain process from supplier to consumer.

Profile

1. Formulates and develops supply chain strategies and policies to ensure continuity of supply across product range, cost-efficient and flow of materials while achieving profit objectives. 2. Coordinate and oversee the complete logistics cycle & process integrating the flow of (products, services, information, and finances) as they move in a process from supplier to consumer, both within and among standards. 3. Supervise, direct and monitor planning of inventory to meet demand plans, and maintaining quick response replenishment process in order to lower costs and improve efficiency and product availability in warehouses. 4. Lead logistics services that include supplies planning, distribution, order processing, inventory control, shipment delivery and information systems for the purpose of achieving smooth work flow, cost effectiveness, total compliance with company’s policies and procedures. 5. Responsible for in coordination with the Distribution sales Director of building and managing a distribution network that allows products to be delivered in a timely bases maintaining high level of services. 6. Cooperating with product management and the marketing team across the business to support the effective launch of new products to satisfy market needs on time. 7. Prepare the detailed yearly budget for the expected expenses of his department and justification thereof in coordination with the general manager and the CFO. 8. Manage the physical stocks at all warehouses in coordination with the finance department and in line with company’s inventory policies, to ensure identification of the balance of goods available in stores and proper count of merchandise based upon purchase orders received. 9. Coordinate with IT in the implementation of business computer application systems in order to achieve company’s goals and to ensure total compliance to software copyright policy and procedures to avoid any legal implications. 10. Develop solid relationship with carriers, insurance company and customs to execute service and savings agreements and ensure providing the suppliers with training & knowledge of supply chain systems, policies & procedures.

Experience 5 - 15 years

Education Basic - Bachelor of Business Administration ( Management )
