AED 19 – 25k + family benefits + bonus Our client is part of a leading European rentals company who specialise in the sale and rental of both Powered Access Machines and Generators to the construction industry as well as hotels, shopping malls, exhibition centres and commercial properties. Continuing their impressive growth plans, they now require a Technical Manager for their Generators division. The primary responsibility of this role is to over see all technical, maintenance, resources, logistics aspects of the generator business and support the General Manager Abu Dhabi and Group Operations Manger of Dubai in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the generators (sizes range for 30kVA to 1250kVA, however larger turnkey units such as 20MW can be synchronised) Be responsible for spare part ordering, organising the logistics of your technical teams (deployment) as well mentoring and supporting your team, set up and manage the workshop, working with the maintenance schedules, completion of work sheets, daily, weekly, monthly reporting to your line manager, Interact with both external and internal customer is a professional and efficient manner, be responsible for warranty registration / claims against suppliers / repairs of machines, making sure that all safety rules and regulations are adhered to and generally making sure that everything runs smoothly so the clients generators are maintained and working perfectly. To qualify you will have a minimum of 5 years experience and a thorough understanding of various sized Power Generators (this is a must) You will have previous experience of overseeing a team of generator technicians with the ability to lead a motivate a team of various nationalities. You will posses excellent communication skills and be very organised and committed to you work.
