S A-31/2010 Minimum Qualifications & Experience A Degree in IT or computer Engineering with 7 years SAP Business Intelligence 7.0. SAP BI 7.0 Certified Professional (Modelling) Special Skills Data Modelling & BW Architecture: Design/Document BW 7.0+ Architecture, Functional requirements, & Design specifications Activate/Enhance ECC extractors to bring desired data into BW Create/Maintain InfoCubes, Operational Data Stores (ODS), MultiProviders, etc Identify/Update master data, hierarchies, configuration, & transactional data Activate Standard Business Content BI Reporting: Develop Business Intelligence (BI) Reports and Structures Create/Maintain/Document Queries, Dashboards, Workbooks, & Reports Design/Develop efficient, reliable data access mechanisms Extraction, Transformation, & Loading (ETL): Create/Maintain 7.0 ETL mechanisms: DTPs, Update/Transfer Rules, Start Routines, user exits, etc to support data ETL Create/Maintain Process Chains to automate data loads Import/Convert Data from ECC, Legacy, or external systems into SAP systems, utilizing ETL techniques Development Lifecycle: Responsible for requirements gathering & analysis, working closely with business users Validate and document the overall Architecture, Design, and Configuration of the SAP BW solution to confirm adherence to the principles of EDW. BI System Administration/Support: Create/Maintain BW source system connections Transport creation, management, scheduling and trouble shooting Prepare/Monitor/Troubleshoot/Test BI servers & BI tools (GUIs) for testing/production Monitor system operations to verify: data loading completes successfully, transports are imported successfully, jobs are scheduled appropriately, data loads are initialized correctly, re-loading of data is handled correctly, user performance issues are resolved.
