Knowledge Management Officer - Dubai

IFAD is an international financial institution and a specialised United Nations agency dedicated to eradicating poverty and hunger in rural areas in developing countries. It does so by financing projects and programmes that increase agricultural productivity and raise rural incomes, and by advocating at local, national and international level for policies that help enable poor rural people to overcome poverty. IFAD is looking for a Knowledge Management Officer, grade P-3, for its Near East and North Africa Division (NEN). The successful candidate will work to systematize the acquisition and generation of knowledge generated by the NEN division in the area of rural development and poverty reduction. S/he will act as the Knowledge Management (KM) focal point and champion for the Division; and will promote systematic learning from the experience and knowledge of the NEN loans and grants programmes.
