Job Description
Our client, a leading cable manufacturer company is looking to recruit a Sales Manager - Export.
Profile Responsibilities:
- Develop (and continually review) a Business/Sales Plan to identify all export opportunities (both products and markets) and then identify (recruit in conjunction with HR), motivate, manage/lead and monitor the performance of the Export Sales Team to ensure achievement of the Sales Plan/Forecast within identified budgets. - Identify key issues affecting customer service, order finalisation and price competition and then devise and implement a series of solutions/actions to ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining existing customers and also increase market share. - Assemble, analyse, interpret and report monthly sales results; competitor activities; market pricing, to the senior management and suggest measures to improve customer relationship and profitable sales. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree with an added qualification in Management or Sales & Marketing. - Minimum 10 years relevant Sales experience in a cable or related industry, along with an understanding of technical support and the ability to understand and determine profitable commercial negotiations. (3-5 years at a managerial level) - Incumbent is expected to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the performance of agreed assignments. - A multinational, multi cultured work force at all levels and in all areas of the business. - A challenging environment created by growing business, complexity and stretching customer service targets. - High level of interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. - Arabic language is preferred - Regional (MENA) knowledge is preferred - Excellent knowledge of cable specifications, product costing, developing commercial strategies & pricing. - Good knowledge of MS Office including databases.
